Ever Vessel Wins Two Australian Good Design Awards

by Bec Bligh | September 21, 2024

Ever Vessel received two prestigious Good Design Awards in the product design category for exceptional design and innovation at the recent 2024 Australian Good Design Awards.

Super Maxi

The Ever Vessel Super Maxi was praised by the Jury for a design that excels in a saturated market by prioritizing simplicity in both functionality and user experience.

“The bottle’s thoughtful design, which emphasizes ease of drinking, cleaning, and portability, showcases how addressing core user needs can lead to a standout product in a highly competitive sector. The Jury recognizes this achievement as a testament to both market awareness and user-centric design,” the Jury said.

Glass Multi

The Jury praised the Ever Vessel Glass Multi commenting the double wall glass bottle design addresses user concerns about hygiene and functionality while maintaining aesthetic appeal and commended the design team for their focus on user needs and sustainable design principles.

Founders

Ever Vessel’s patented designs remove the cleanliness pain points of reusable bottle ownership and are the brainchild of a Brisbane based entrepreneur couple Tim Bligh and Rebecca (Bec) Bligh.

“Keeping your bottle clean shouldn’t be hard,” stated Tim Bligh, co-owner and lead of product development at Ever Vessel.

“It took more than four years of research, design and passionate discussions to bring our vessels to life, and the award accolades are a testament to the care we took to bring purposeful and unique designs to the water bottle market,” said Tim.

Good Design Australia and the Australian Good Design Awards

Good Design Australia is an international design organisation committed to promoting the importance of design and the critical role it plays in creating a better, safer and more prosperous world.

Each year the Australian International Good Design Awards showcase the pinnacle of design excellence from the design, architecture, engineering, business sectors and emerging fields such as design strategy, social impact and policy design.

This year’s theme, "The Design Effect" underscored the crucial role design plays in shaping better products, services, spaces, and experiences while driving the transition to a more sustainable, less carbon-intensive future.

The award entries were rigorously evaluated by more than 80 distinguished Jurors from around the globe, including designers, engineers, architects, and industry leaders.

The evaluation process focused on three core criteria: Good Design, Design Innovation, and Design Impact, ensuring that each winner demonstrated outstanding design quality and effectiveness.
